Grind Analysis Service
Utilizing a Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer (LDPSA), we provide a detailed grind size distribution report.
Compared to sieving, LDPSA offers superior reproducibility and detail, making it easy to spot problems with your grinding.
We offer expedited, routine, and planned analysis service plans. Contact us for details. Your first analysis is free. (limit, one sample, routine service.)
Service Plans:
- Expedited Service: $350 for the overnight running of three samples.
- Routine Service: $250 for the one-week running of three samples.
- Annual Service Plan: $1,500 for the 20-sample pack.

| The data shows a study of a Ditting grinder at various settings. This represents five (5) samples at grinder settings 1,3,5,7, and 9. The average grind size was approximately 100, 300, 500, 700, and 900 microns, respectively. Examination of the average grind size and the width of the distribution as it changes over time can predict or indicate critical failure of the grinder. |
